The event will examine:
Innovative and effective approaches to deliver high-quality GCE in Teacher Education
Teacher Education research and practice aligned with Ireland’s Renewed Curriculum
Approaches to advancing Global Citizenship Education (GCE) in ITE.
Key highlights include:
- Keynote addresses from leading practitioners and teacher educators
- Parallel sessions showcasing teacher education research, case studies and examples of good practice

- Classroom resources, methodologies, and assessment strategies
- What primary teachers need to enact GCE effectively
- Reflective approaches to GCE within the new curriculum
- Initial teacher education and CPD in a time of curriculum change
- Impacts of curriculum reform on teacher educator planning
- Solidarity and leadership for GCE in ITE
- National and international perspectives on curriculum change and citizenship education
